I am unfortunately cursed with the personality that will always agree to do more. I have difficulties setting boundaries or limitations on time or commitments I make. These qualities are (hopefully one) of the reasons friends and employers find me valuable. The double-edge sword is that when I become too overwhelmed I become a screaming toddler that my poor husband has to pick up and put down for a nap.
This month my job becomes extraordinarily busy. I will be working 6 days a week for 3 weeks and frequently get home past 9 pm. Last year my co-workers warned me to set a strict schedule and take time for breaks. I didn't of course and ended up sick in April. And this year I kept the same exact schedule.
This morning while driving Husband to work, I had a mini-break down in the car. I need to do the following things in order to feel partway sane - the house has to be clean, and I need to be able to hang out with my family (dogs included). I dreaded coming to work today to see the schedule for the next 3 weeks. Our house is a disaster, there is no food in the fridge, and piles of laundry are looming. To top if all off we have Husband's best friend + girlfriend visiting for the next two weekend.
Why Husband rocks? He let me go completely batsh!tcrazy, organized what has to be done, and decided to take on some more work so I can sleep in tomorrow morning. How awesome is he?

one: makings changes
This blog is first and foremost for myself.
I love reading blogs. I read all types of them - blogs about dogs, blogs about women's lives, professional blogs, company blogs, blogs about babies, reality television blogs. When I was younger I had a livejournal and documented my teen year's religiously.I don't think that my blog will have any real interest for people other than myself ( and maybe friends and family - Hi, Mom!). That's fine.
I started making lists of changes I wanted to make in my life for as long as I can remember. One of the biggest pet peeves of mine is people who sincerely believe that people can't and don't change. Change, for the better and worse, can be made.
I am creating this blog is to track the changes I'm making in my own life and to write about interests. Simple, right?
